Payments

Payment Options:

  • In person during business hours
  • Drop box (located at the side entrance of the Town Hall)
  • By mail using U.S. funds

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Cash (in person only; if using drop box, secure in a sealed envelope with your contact information)
  • Certified bank check
  • Money order
  • Credit card (MasterCard or Visa) — subject to a 2.99% service fee

Personal checks are not accepted.

The Court is the only office authorized to assist with court matters.

Do not leave paperwork or payments with any other Town Hall departments.

Please be respectful to all employees within the building.

Vehicle & Traffic and Animal Control Cases

Please ensure you appear in court on the correct date.

You must:
A) Sign the summons/ticket you received in the section indicating your plea, and update your address if necessary.
B) Return your signed summons/ticket to the court by mail, email, drop box, or in person during business hours.

  • Not Guilty Plea:
    You will be notified in writing by mail of the date you must personally appear in court to discuss your case with the Town Prosecutor.
  • Guilty Plea:
    Once the court receives your guilty plea, the Judge will review your case and notify you by mail of the disposition and any fine due.

Criminal Matters

At arraignment, you will receive written confirmation of your next scheduled court date.

Please provide the court with your preferred contact method — cell phone, email, or mailing address (USPS).

Evictions (Summary Proceedings)

To begin an eviction case:

  • File the necessary paperwork and pay the required filing fee with the Town of Concord Justice Court.
  • Your case will be transferred to the Erie County Landlord-Tenant HUB Court, which will then notify all parties by mail of their scheduled appearance dates.

Small Claims

Small Claims cases involve money-only disputes up to $3,000 against individuals or entities who reside, work, or do business within the Town of Concord.

Justice Courts in New York State cannot order the return of personal property.

After you file your paperwork and pay the filing fee, all parties will be notified in writing of the appearance date.

Court session times vary depending on the presiding judge — typically 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM.
