Court Information

The Court Clerks are not permitted to give legal advice, so please do not ask.

If you have a Vehicle and Traffic matter in court, you are to mail in your plea of either “guilty” or “not guilty”. If you plead guilty, the judge will assess a fine and/or surcharge; you will then be sent a bill. If you plead not guilty, you will either be notified by the court for a different return date, or notified by the town prosecutor.

If you have a Criminal Matter you are to appear on that date, unless otherwise notified by the court.

Court is held on Thursday nights at 6:00pm.
District Attorney Night – 1st Thursday each month.
